Healthy school meals initiative at Manchester City with Joe Hart, Shay Given, Marco and Varithek
Football and catering superstars have got together to help the cause of healthy eating for primary schoolchildren.
Part of a series of 'City in the Community' initiatives aimed at forging closer links between Manchester City and the local community, 'Strike a Balance' is a partnership with Manchester Healthy Schools and Manchester City Council and will see CITC offer the free five week programme to 120 primary schools in Manchester.
Kicking off the campaign were Manchester City's star players Joe Hart and Shay Given.
Lending the very best of culinary support is chef Marco Pierre-White and BGL Rieber's Varithek front of house self-ventilating mobile cooking unit, supplied by Caterware.
