New front cooking solution and servery at University of Cumbria

C&C Catering Equipment Ltd., recently completed the foodservice installation at The University of Cumbria's 'Gateway' project awarded by Pinnington Contractors Ltd.

The £500k scheme, designed by David Bentley FCSI, The Russell Partnership, consists of 3 areas; a large scale production kitchen on the lower ground floor, a snack bar on the ground floor and the main kitchen and servery on the second floor.

'The Gateway', situated on the Lancaster campus, opened in January 2009 and provides access for vital student services and learning resources.

Rieber's Varithek ACS 1000 cooking solution was chosen for the theatre servery area within the main servery.
