Diamonds Restaurant chooses Hackman Metos for mash

The web reviews of Diamonds leave no doubt as to the enthusiasm of the customers. But another testimony to the success of this thriving business is the long opening hours:

“Catering to this huge demand requires 120 staff,” said Diamonds’ owner Hugh Murray.
Located along the pier in Warrenpoint, Diamonds Restaurant seats 170 but also caters to a very successful take-away trade.
“On a Sunday approximately half the meals sold are takeaway,” said Murray, “including everything from salads and cold meats to hot lunches including a full roast and creamed potato. In two hours on a Sunday morning we can serve more customers than over the whole of a Saturday evening.”
Meals are delivered with the aid of Rieber’s Thermoport insulated food containers and Diamonds has been using a Hackman Metos cooking kettle for six years.
“We have tried food processors and large food mixers but with the volumes we are producing, they made such as mess. The kettle is the business,” said Murray. “We absolutely love it, so much, we have just acquired another one. They are used for pie fillings, stews and especially, a lot of creamed potatoes.”
