BGL Rieber's Gareth Newton is voted Wilshire's 'Best Boss'

There's nothing better then being recognised in your job.

Thousands of listeners at Wiltshire's leading radio station GWR FM took part in the voting for 'Wiltshire's Best', a series of awards including best teacher, best restaurant and best hairdresser.

Hotly contested by scores of local companies, the 'Best Boss' category was won by the Managing Director of Melksham-based BGL Rieber, Gareth Newton.

Here is what Gareth's staff said about him, “Gareth is the best boss ever because he is understanding, fair and very, very funny”... "He buys us Thornton's advent calendars for Christmas and basically makes it a pleasure for us to come to work.”

Gareth commented: "Working for a leading foodservice equipment supply company is demanding and hard work. We all do our best to maintain a respectful, cheerful and productive atmosphere in the office and in front of our customers. It helps us win business and work positively. It is very flattering to win the Best Boss Award and I thank the staff very much for their praise."
