Balliol College, Oxford, presented kitchen designer Derek White FCSI with a food transport issue. The kitchen is situated in the basement of Balliol, founded in 1263 and reckoned to be the oldest college in Oxford. But two floors above is the dining hall, which now features White’s new food servery.
Thermoport boxes were chosen, says White: “To transport food from the kitchen to the servery alongside the dining hall easily, safely and with the utmost hygiene.”
