The Tirol Clinics prepare approximately 7,000 to 7,500 meals daily for patients and employees – an enormous logistical effort where every optimization counts. In close collaboration with kitchen and production managers Josef Lindner and Roland Eberl , the decision was made, together with Rieber, to replace approximately 6,000 GN containers and lids with the new GNONE® model .
GNONE impresses in everyday clinical practice
The new container system was specially developed for professional use and offers numerous advantages:
- Optimized stackability: Wedging when stacking is a thing of the past thanks to special stacking lugs.
- More volume: Larger filling quantities increase efficiency in storage, transport and preparation.
- Easy to clean: With no dents or bumps, GNONE® containers are particularly easy to clean and hygienic.
- Better air circulation: Optimized perforation in the perforated containers improves air flow.
- Space saving: Uniform stackability reduces storage requirements – regardless of manufacturer.
- Versatile lid variants: The high-quality, waterproof plug-in lid was particularly impressive across the board.
Expansion to the Hall in Tirol hospital
The Hall in Tirol Hospital , which is supplied from Innsbruck using the cook-and-chill process, also decided to completely switch to the GNONE® system. This means that all processes there – from preparation to serving – benefit from the new standards.
Hygienically safe transport with thermoport®
For food transport, the Tirol Clinics rely on the t hermoport® 1000 with stacking lock . This Rieber system not only ensures safe and temperature-resistant transport but also meets all requirements for HACCP-compliant food logistics.
Conclusion: A worthwhile investment in quality & efficiency
With the introduction of the GNONE® system and the proven transport solution thermoport®, the Tirol Kliniken benefit from a modern, hygienic and space-saving overall solution – a successful project that shows how intelligent product development and collaborative partnerships can sustainably optimize kitchen processes.
