Rieber GmbH & Co. KG has won the prestigious Green Product Award 2023 in the packaging category for its “eatTAINABLE” digital and deposit-free reusable food container system.
The Green Product Award 2023 honours, presents and promotes the best concepts and implementations of sustainable design products worldwide.
The Green Product Award 2023 jury said of eatTAINABLE: “Great reusable portfolio for gastronomy, reflecting the forward-looking legislation for plastic-free food packaging. The additional QR Code is a strong investment in reusable Infrastructure.”
Some 1,300 submissions from 40 countries ensured another record participation in the Green Product and Green Concept Award 2023 sustainability awards, presented in Berlin.
The Green Product Awards are aimed at existing companies and challenges them to show off their best, most sustainable products. The Awards have been given annually since 2013 to products and concepts that stand out in design, innovation and sustainability. Winners come from China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Germany, France, Israel, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Slovenia, the United Kingdom and the United States.
