K-Pot the no gell chafing dish

How can our products and solutions support operators with streamlining kitchen operations and speeding up service?

The K-POT electric chafing dish range includes a CONNECT model that allows remote operation. Units can be switched on or off at scheduled times, making it easy to cook or keep food at a precise serving temperature. The CONNECT system can also be triggered via data codes on packaging or laser-engraved labels on Rieber GN pans, simplifying setup for staff and helping customers keep takeaway food hot for occasions such as parties.

K-POT CONNECT makes it possible to prepare hot buffets, snacks, finger foods, and pastries away from the main kitchen, with far less time pressure. This flexibility gives caterers a much wider window to organise and deliver service efficiently.

Food can be kept at the correct temperature alongside the K-POT units using Rieber Midi KB heated transport boxes, allowing dishes to be held hot for service or reheated directly on the K-POTs.

During service, K-POT maximises kitchen space by doubling as both a holding unit and a cooking hob – ideal for stir-frying, boiling, griddling, frying, and more.

How do plug-and-play products compare to more traditional fixed kitchen appliances and equipment when it comes to streamlining operations?

Event catering is made more efficient and easier with plug-and-play equipment, such as K-Pot and the Midi KB hot food transport box, and they allow caterers to expand their catering offering, safe in the knowledge that their food will be served at the right temperature. Both K-Pot and the Rieber Midi KB work from standard 13-amp sockets. The Midi KB uses very little energy and can also run on vehicle electrics to keep food at 85 degC.

K-Pots in use for outdoor catering. The units were used earlier in the day to regenerate hot food, but for service, the K-Pots switch to cooking mode, the hot food they warmed earlier is placed into Midi KB heated hot boxes to keep hot. The K-Pots can now cook off steaks, chicken, fish etc fresh for guests.

For businesses with takeaway/delivery operations, how can your plug-and-play equipment help make these services run faster and more smoothly?

Takeaway and delivery are enhanced by plug-and-play equipment which can open up more opportunity for catering operators.

In theory, operators could deliver pizzas or hot meals to 10 different customers without losing temperature, in one delivery round, helping to relieve time pressure for caterers and providing a consistently hot product for customers, not matter how far they are away. This expands the potential delivery area and widens the customer base!

The Rieber Midi KB is the ultimate hot box for vehicles. It uses very little energy and can maintain a temperature from vehicle electrics to keep food nice and hot at 85 degC. The box is large enough to hold a lot of food, and the heating system ensures that multiple deliveries can all be made at the same temperature.

Rieber’s Midi KB is so reliable at maintaining temperature that it has been favoured by Meals on Wheels delivery services for years now.

Rieber’s K-Pot and K-Pot CONNECT offer greater sophistication, better-quality service equipment, and guaranteed hot temperatures for food. K-Pot is an ideal accessory for keeping hot meals hot without burning. It looks smart, and the CONNECT option gives caterers more flexibility with delivery and setup.
