Geoff Moyle BEM, Trust Catering Manager at Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (the Freeman and Royal Victoria Hospitals) has retired after more than 40 years in service with the NHS.

In a fitting end to a long career, Geoff’s retirement event saw him presented with a British Empire Medal for services to the NHS by the Lord Lieutenant of Tyne and Wear, Sue Winfield. See more on the story here:

BGL Rieber would like to offer our congratulations to Geoff and we wish him all the best for a happy retirement.

BGL Rieber Regional Director Steve Scragg (pictured right) adds: “Geoff is a dedicated caterer, a great team leader as well as an innovator who has improved the standard of food for patients and staff.  He has helped set the highest of standards and is leaving a Trust Catering Service that represents everything that is excellent about NHS catering.”
